I Believe.....

I believe in angels, not of fairy tales..
But the real ones....angels within all of us..

I believe, angel within me celebrates at each achievement of mine
I believe, she smiles when my heart is happy
I believe, she praises me for what I think
I believe, she admires me for what I do
I believe, she thumbs up when I look into the mirror
I believe, she thanks me when I take a daring step and succeed
I believe, she forbids me when my mind tells me to do wrong
I believe, she scolds me when I go bad
I believe, she cares for me in whichever situation I am in
I believe, she loves me for what I am


Angel within me becomes sad, whenever I am low
She cries at each bruise my heart has to bear
She too is upset when something goes wrong to me
She goes restless when some worry wakes me up in the midnight
She gets scared when I foresee a danger
She shoulders me when I sob in isolation
She understands when no one cares to notice
She encourages when she finds I am weak


I know I am never alone ...
Cos my angel is there

To lift me when I fall

To say, 'I am there with you always'

To become my shadow and show me the way all along...
